The Best restaurant in Renton is Taco Del Rey. It's near IKEA and across the street from Wendy's. But don't eat at Wendy's! Eat at Taco Del Rey. We go there all the time for a wide variety of reasons, but two stand out:

• Literally 100% consistently the best food

• Owned and operated by a very nice fellow

I usually get the regular chicken burrito. The chicken is always top quality. Light, fluffy, perfectly cooked. The beans are always perfect, well prepared with just the right consistency. We always get chips, and the salsa is nothing short of exquisite. Everything is fresh. Come to think of it, everything, top to bottom, is excellent, and that's no hyperbole.

This next review is from a customer who says she drives down from Seattle for a plate of heaven at Taco del Rey about once a week, whether she needs to go to IKEA or not!

    They have the best Mexican food around. It's fresh, inexpensive, well-prepared, and the portions are always generous. And they have a great salsa bar with lots of options. I haven't tried anything that wasn't downright fantastic.
